At our company, we understand the importance of giving back to the community that has contributed to our success. As a responsible exporter in Sri Lanka, we take our commitments seriously and ensure that our efforts make a positive impact on the local community.

We go above and beyond to fulfill our corporate social responsibility, even in our day-to-day operations. For instance, we provide employment opportunities to unemployed individuals in the area to assist with basic processing. This not only helps us increase our success, but also provides them with a chance to improve their lives.

Our aim is to support and uplift local spice farmers and their families through fair trade. We strongly believe in giving back to the community and providing self-employment opportunities to local villagers. By doing so, we hope to make a difference in the lives of those who have helped us achieve our success.

Ensuring access to clean drinking water.

The plantation under my ownership contains a waterway that originates from the nearby mountains. The waterway serves as a vital resource for the villagers inhabiting the region and as such, its preservation is of utmost importance. To this end, I have taken measures to safeguard the waterway from unauthorized activities, particularly gem mining, which could harm its ecosystem.

In addition to this, I have collaborated with the local authorities to construct a large tank that supplies clean drinking water to the entire village. The tank is connected to the waterway, ensuring that the water is safe to consume. The aim of this initiative is to provide the local community with access to clean drinking water, which is a basic necessity of life.

By preserving the waterway and providing access to clean drinking water, I am making an effort to make a positive impact on the lives of the people living in the vicinity. Moreover, this initiative serves to protect the natural beauty of the waterway, ensuring that it remains a valuable resource for future generations.

By providing Essential goods

Providing essential goods is one of the greatest services one can offer to humanity. Our organization has been actively engaged in supporting local communities through a diverse range of projects. During one such project, we identified a group of one hundred pregnant mothers in the Ayagama secretariat deviation who were beset by significant challenges in meeting their fundamental requirements. These women were facing difficulties in acquiring essential goods and baby needs due to various circumstances.

With a view to helping these mothers in their hour of need, our team sprang into action, collaborating with JAICA to provide them with the requisite baby essentials and other necessary goods. Our objective was to serve as a source of strength and support for these mothers during their difficult times. We ensured that they had access to the basic necessities required for their newborns and themselves until they could manage their lives independently.

We take pride in the fact that we were able to make a positive difference in the lives of these mothers and their babies by providing the support they needed during their time of crisis. Our hope is that our actions will serve as an inspiration to others to step forward and assist those in need of aid.
